How to request a Leave Empty How to request a Leave

Post  Admin Sat Oct 16, 2010 9:36 pm

From: US:A-Department

Subject: Leave of Absence and Unauthorized Absence

Purpose: To facilitate requests for leave by standardizing them.

Real life is your first Commitment. But the U.S. Army is Commitment too. You owe a duty to your fellow mates to let them know if you are taking a leave of absence. Therefore the following policy is effective immediately:

AUTHORIZED ABSENCES
For leaves MORE THAN FOUR DAYS you MUST create a new thread requesting leave on this board.
The SUBJECT of the post MUST show the dates of leave in dd MMM YY format, example:
1 Sep 08 - 15 Sep 08 (if you know when the leave will be over)
1 Sep - (if you're not sure when the leave will end)
If you are NOT sure when you return. You must post an ESTIMATED TIME of return.
In the MESSAGE portion of the post give a reason for the leave and an approximate date of return.
When you return from leave you MUST post a REPLY to your leave thread.
Authorized absences will be noted on the Personnel Board and allow
Naval personnel to keep rank and board accounts.
When on leave, you must ALWAYS update your mini-profile.
Not adhering to these rules will result in demotions on return.

UNAUTHORIZED ABSENCES
If you are gone from habbo MORE THAN FOUR DAYS without a posted leave (applies to E-4 and up), the absence is unauthorized and consequences apply.
After four days you can be removed from the ranks as a deserter and your board account deleted.
If you return after having deserted, it will be at a ONE-RANK DEMOTION.

LEAVES WITHOUT AN ESTIMATED RETURN DATE
If a leave is posted "- " without an estimated return date in the body of the post, the "leave" expires one month from the date of post.

RETIREMENTS, QUITINGS, AND LIFE FUCKS UP HABBO
Real life is first. Habbo is second. When posting leaves, please conform leaves to the situations above referenced. If the Leave doesn't fit the circumstances, please post a "Retirement" thread to Retirements. Why? Retirements/Quittings are allowed to return at former rank. Deserters return at a rank lower than what they had.

BOTTOM LINE
Post a return date and stick to it or expect DEMOTION.

NOTE
Posting leave DOES NOT AFFECT TESTING STATUS. If you are in testing for rank, you still got the one week to finish tests. All open testing accounts are deleted after one week and the personnel removed as Deserter.
